What does “THE GAME” mean to me?

What does “The Game” mean to me?
It means it truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
It means listening to nothing but TBDBITL on my iPod the entire month of November.
It means raking the leaves in the front yard into a block “O.”
It means the “Blood Battle.”
It means Mirror Lake the Tuesday night before.
It means a chance to use the word “slobberknocker.”
It means waking up in the fall and going outside, closing your eyes, capturing the smell of the cool crisp air in your nostrils, and thinking of nothing but The Game.
It means a Friday that takes too long, and a Saturday that comes too fast.
It means the classic 1950 “Snow Bowl” when Michigan won without a single first down.
It means the Skull Session, the ramp entrance, and the drum major backbend.
It means making good on The Promise: “You'll be proud of our young people in the classroom, in the community, and most especially in 310 days in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on the football field.”
It means the winged helmet and touching the “M Go Blue” sign.
It means tossing records, statistics, history, and rankings out the window.
It means 1897.
It means Buckeye leaf stickers.
It means only referring to That School Up North as “That School Up North” for the week leading up to the game.
It means cool temperatures and overcast skies.
It means learning about the “Toledo War.”
It means Earl Bruce being carried off the field by his players after his final game as head coach.
It means 57-43-6.
It means Script “Ohio.”
It means Woody vs. Bo.
It means mutual hatred and resentment along with mutual admiration and respect.
It means Woody refusing to stop to get gas while on a recruiting trip in Michigan, even when he knew he would run out before getting to Ohio, because he didn’t want anyone in Michigan to benefit from his misfortune.
It means Hail to the Victors.
It means saying “They put their pants on one leg at a time like everyone else,” then beating That School Up North four straight times, all by shutout.
It means the birth of legends.
It means what college football is really all about.
It means 313 rushing yards, and 4 rushing yards.
It means Woody standing out in the snow with a short-sleeve shirt on.
It means 108 years of history.
It means a Ray Griffin interception to win the game when his brother Archie failed to reach 100 yards rushing for the first time in 32 straight games.
It means more than 100,000 screaming fans and millions more at home.
It means seeing nothing but a sea of red.
It means the Ten Year War.
It means storming the field, tearing down the goal posts, and taking a little piece of the turf home with you.
It means sending an email to everyone I know with 15 pages of Michigan jokes.
It means the Heisman pose.
It means the countdown clock in the weight room.
It means running around crying as Will Allen won’t let go of the football.
It means getting chills while writing this.
It means waiting 364 days for three-and-a-half hours of pain, struggle, and glory that last a lifetime.
It means the Gold Pants.
It means wearing nothing but Ohio State clothing for the entire month of November.
It means making little peanut butter and chocolate candies.
It means not being able to sleep the night before.
It means not being able to sit still on Saturday morning.
It means noon on the fourth Saturday of November.
It means the reason why so many choose to go to these schools.
It means three-and-a-half hours where nothing else is going on in the world.
It means #1 versus #2.
It means a one game season.
It means the victory bell.
It means Senior Tackle.
It means the Tunnel of Pride.
