Interesting. I hope Wolf comes on The Factor and debates O'Reilly.

I watched the episode and thought nothing of it. It was a fictional character who was portrayed throughout the episode as radically liberal. Really Bill? Why the waste the time and energy? I mean it is just a tv show and Law and Order have tackled much more controversial items. (The abortion show a few weeks ago)

Is it surprising that O'Reilly is acting irrationally?

Not whatsoever. If only he could be a bastion of civility and rationality like you people...what a wonderful world it would be.

I'm a L&O fan, but their writers have all but gone off the deep end in the past couple years with the liberal storylines. Doesn't mean I won't continue to watch, but it is kind of ridiculous. I mean, do they really believe people don't see what they're doing (preaching)?

As for O'Reilly or anyone wasting time to comment on it like that...it's what they do. Why is anyone surprised?

Almost EVERYTHING that comes out of the "entertainment" industry these days has some sort of liberal thread intertwined in the story-lines.

It's amusing how they think they're being clever in getting out their "message."

More "evil liberal media and hollywood" bullshit from the right. If you don't totally agree with something, just give it a label and call it evil. That's the easy way to handle it. It they were pushing a conservative agenda you guys wouldn't say a word, cause it would be OK then. And if that happened, I really wouldn't care, because I have to choice whether to watch it or not.

I don't agree with Rush Limbaugh. So you know what I do? I don't listen. I don't expect him to be taken off the air, and I don't want to silence him. I just don't listen. He is entertainment, just like Law and Order.

If it bothers you that much, don't watch it. Free country and all. It's a friggin' TV show. It's not a news report passing itself off as fact. It's entertainment. Entertainment doesn't need to be neutral or bi-partisan.

Isn't this the same show that once employed conservative/republican Fred Thompson?

I just watched last nights L&O, really liberal bias. The story was about a liberal organization, like ACORN, who is trying to cover up an affair and embezzlement scandal, so they kill a co-worker who is a secret right winger. They even attempted to try and link the death to "tea party" member, but he was found innocent of the murder. Yeah, liberal bias.

I don't...it's largely un-entertaining bullshit not worth watching anyways.

And ptown, there is without a doubt a significant left-leaning bias in the entertainment industry and mainstream media.

I LMAO as they whine & boo-hoo and suggest that the Feds bail them out as they watch their market-shares decline.

When Hollyweird decides to start entertaining again as opposed to being a propaganda device for the left and when the 4th Estate re-employs true objective investigative journalism to its reporting of newsworthy events, then perhaps conservatives will shut their mouths.

The only person mocked who should be upset is Lou Dobbs. The other guys were just mentioned but Dobbs was badly defamed.

I love Law and Order, but i will agree with Writer that in the last couple weeks, or months, for that matter, it has almost been embarrassing to watch, give the obvious intentions of the writers.

So, in this instance, i will join in with Writer and Believer in complaining! :D

Why would anyone in their right mind go on O'Reilly for a debate??? So when they try to make a point he can shout over them then end the segment before they get a chance to get a word in???

I never understood why people go on there...

I would like to see O'Reilly have to debate someone of intelligence in a neutral setting.

Too funny.

You kind of have to just live with it on TV and with movie stars. If you didn't, there'd be nothing left to watch.

I find it interesting that the shows where there are clear bad guys and clear good guys, with the good guys almost always winning, are typically the most popular shows. So the writers who try to be "creative" like putting Bush on trial are waging a losing battle for viewers.

I agree O'Reilly talks over most people but he does well with the radical people like Barney Frank. He leaves them speechless. So that is the main reason I want to see Wolf go on there.

Larroquette's character says, "Limbaugh, Beck, O'Reilly, all of 'em, they are like a cancer

Yeah, I'd say that is wayyyyy over the line, there. And it doesn't matter what part of the political spectrum people adhere to, it's not defendable.
It cannot be justified.

Come on guys, how can anybody say that they don't see anything wrong with it?

It's only "hate" or "uncivil" if it comes from the right. The left pretty much gets carte blanche to say what they want. Who's going to call them on it, certainly not the mainstream media.

I'm a middle of the road kinda guy, and I absolutely loved that line in L&O. They ARE a cancer. They're radical and/or hypocritical idiots just like PETA, KKK, Catholics, Frank, etc.....

What a great place this country would be if everyone was middle-of-the-road, instead of people sticking up for far left or right party lines. The far divide is what is REALLY wrong with this country.

Lou Dobbs isn't a cancer though. He simply stands up against illegal immigration and all of the sudden he is a racist. Blah blah blah. It's horse manure.

The reason the leftist writers for Hollyweird programs and the so-called "mainstream" media label people like O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. a "cancer" is because they know they've been exposed for what they truly are and because millions of Americans are opening their eyes to the the real cancer plaguing this country: The drive towards European-style socialism.

While you may have found a sort of "above it all" comfort by sitting on the precarious political fence, I'm thankful conservative talk radio and television programs like the O'Reilly Factor are shouting the dangers of rampant liberalism from the mountain tops.

Apparently millions of other Americans feel the same way. While these "cancerous" programs enjoy lofty ratings and popularity (for good reason) Hollyweird and the mainstream media lament their declining market-shares.

Hmmm....I wonder why that is?

When you think about it, since LnO is a make believe show, using make believe characters, they could have very easily made up make believe names to label as "cancer".
But, they didn't.
Because they were making a purposeful dig.

Oh well. I don't watch the show LOL

So much for freedom of speech. The people mentioned in this clip (Limbaugh, O'Reilly, et. al.) are allowed to say whatever they want and attack people on a daily basis, but as soon as a fictional TV show says something at their expense, there is a problem?

This is just another example of supporting freedom of speech as long as you agree with what is being said. Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly and their ilk can say whatever they want on their shows...I really don't care. That's the beauty of free speech. But for any of them to get bent out of shape when someone reciprocates is hypocritical at best.
