Valpo's 5-1. Two of those wins came against teams whose names aren't in Yahoo's database. They also have close wins against Georgia Southern and Akron and a bigger one against Duquesne, as well as a nine-point loss to Arizona (ranked 16th at the time).
Might be the second toughest opponent the Bucks have faced behind Florida, but this should still be an easy win. More opportunities to see all the players on the court for extended minutes. And an opportunity for me to move to 4-0 in threads I start! Which is what really matters.

We'll see if the tryptophan is completely out of the players' systems for this game, or whether they'll sleep walk through the opening minutes.
In any event, it should be close for a while, perhaps even a half or more, before OSU's athleticism allows them to take command and post a 10-15 point win.

It's not out of my system yet, but I'm in my 30s and definitely not in playing shape, so you know, metabolism and shit...it's not my friend. Hopefully, they don't have that problem.Writerbuckeye;986542 wrote:We'll see if the tryptophan is completely out of the players' systems for this game, or whether they'll sleep walk through the opening minutes.

In the SEC, that's considered a powerhouse.Heretic;986531 wrote:Valpo's 5-1. Two of those wins came against teams whose names aren't in Yahoo's database. Valpo only beat Akron by 2 and Georgia Southern by 9, they are also 85th in the nation in rebounding. This might get ugly quick as OSU should dominate on the boards

Valpo is better than a "cupcake", but is still not going to be an OOC challenge for Ohio State. At least it wont be as ugly as the last few.

Not a good start. Buford is off. Only 21-19.

Does anybody miss shots worse than Thomas? I've never seen so many bricks, when the kid misses he misses badly
Anyways, Bucks need to pick it up in the second half

Just got back from the game sitting about 10 rows from the court. My one observation from this game is OSU's dance team in the black uniforms that sit under the baskets have the best spandex pants I've ever seen and I'm pretty sure none of them wear any undies. Oh and I think the Bucks played a basketball game too but I'm not sure.

Game was close in the 1st half. Not so much in the second half. It got ugly.

This game indicates that in close games Matta will once again have a 7 player rotation. Sullinger, Buford and Craft won't leave the floor unless they get in foul trouble.
