I love Dan Bailey and its great to have a kicker the Cowboys can count on but he won't win Rookie of the Year. I'd give my vote to Von Miller.

He is going to be good. But Von Miller is gonna be a pro bowler this year based on the few games I've seen.

Offense: Cam right now, AJ Green and DeMarco Murray still in the running
Defense: Von Miller, with Ryan Kerrigan right on his heels

I'm worried he is going to be a Meachem/Stallworth part 2. He doesn't run great routes and all his catches seem to be long bombs. Haven't seen him make all the catches to agree with that prediction. I havent seen every Ravens game though.

If the Bengals make the playoffs, it has to be Andy Dalton for offensive ROY. Cam is great, but if it wasn't for him rushing the ball, his numbers aren't any better than Dalton's.

First of all, discounting the rushing statistics doesn't make any sense. But 2nd of all, yes they are. He has almost 800 more passing yards, 1.5 more yards/attempt (8.0 to 6.5), and way more big plays (20+ yards).

Dalton has more touchdowns, and that's it. Cam is a gunslinger, and Dalton is a game manager.

The only real argument Dalton has is wins and losses. Which has a lot more to do with the fact that the Bengals defense has allowed almost 100 points less than the Carolina D than anything offensively (Cinci has 11 more points than Carolina on the season, and the Panthers are 5th in the NFL in total offense).

I'd take Green way before Dalton, and Cam before both of them for ROY at this point.

DeMarco Murray would be my #2 choice behind Newton if it ended right now.

That's the thing with Smith. He's great running a "go" route but he's got a lot to learn as far as precision route running. He's not very good in that facet of his game yet.

How about the # of turnovers Cam has?
How about the fact that he has more interceptions than passing touchdowns?

Doubt a QB has ever won ROY with more interceptions than passing touchdowns.

Cam has:
21 total tds
19 total turnovers.
and his team is 2-8 (tied for 2nd worst record in the NFL)

I think he is regressing, and I just dont see him winning it.

check that, i could actually see him winning it because while his numbers are nothing special, neither are any other rookies. Dalton has basically the same numbers (td/turnover wise) and his team has the better record.

Even though they would never give it to the kicker, Dan Bailey deserves it. Only a rookie and is having a record setting season for a kicker. One of the biggest struggles for the Cowboys the past few years have been the kicking game.

Heres to Murray to continue having a great year and winning it.
