Iphone is about as good as it gets.
Our engineer for the network tests out pretty much every phone. He has been doing it for 15 or so years and says top to botton the Iphone is the best phone on the market.
Bar none.

I really enjoy my Samsung Focus S.
And your engineer is a moron. There isn't a phone that is top to bottom better than the others in the market. There's pretty much parity right now between features, apps, etc (IE one may have an app advantage others have service advantages, others have hardware advantages).
Iphone is nice though and isn't a bad choice. I just don't like the UI.

Nah. He does a damned good job.
Whereas many of the smart phones lack in things such as RF output the Iphone will trump it. He uses them all, and as much as he never wanted to admit to it the Iphone is all around the best out there. He works the trouble tickets, runs the areas to do all the testing.he knows what works and doesnt work.
Our area rep pretty much echos the same thing. The companies always send both them many of the phones to use and both state they cannot find a better phone out there.
Now......profitability for the individual stores on the IPHONE sale alone is pretty shitty. Business wise, with all other things being equal, a store is better off to see 100 other smarts phones compared to 100 Iphones due to the compensation levels

There are plenty of phones that are equal to the Iphone in every aspect. It's just a matter of one's personal preference.

I bought the extended battery and am never away from a power source for too long. I didn't have too many problems with the battery life on my Thunderbolt either, but I just wanted the Bionic.
