Not even a Michigan homer can say Novak hasn't been a dirty player.

as does thisWebFire;1061198 wrote:Too bad they spotted them a 20 point lead. Seems to be a theme this year.
http://www.toledoblade.com/Michigan/2012/01/22/Michigan-s-rally-comes-up-short.htmlThe loss is yet another road disappointment for Michigan (15-5), which still hasn't won a game on an opponent's home court this season.
On BTN's Final Drive, Burke said the last play was set up for Hardaway, but he couldn't get the ball to him (however, if you look at the replay, Burke never even looks in his direction--and Hardaway was wide open). All things considered though, he is a freshman--and I can't wait for him meet Mr. Craft next weekendcentralbucksfan;1061634 wrote:Why is Burke shooting the last shot instead of Hardaway or even Novak? Also down by 2, I think you take the ball to the basket as well. Bottom line, u can't spot a team a 20 point lead and expect to come back. Ark was unreal to start, hitting their first 11 shots.
I'd like Novaks shooting if it's a set play where he can be open (like you said, can't get his own shot), but I wouldn't want Douglass taking that shot.Laley23;1061681 wrote:If the play was for a 3, Id rather it be in Burkes hands than Hardaway, who last I checked at least, wasnt hitting for shit beyond the arc. Douglass and Novak are great shooters, but they cant get their own shot, so no way they get a play drawn for them.
Yeah, just looked. Thought he was closer to 40%, but only at 32% from three.WebFire;1061683 wrote:I'd like Novaks shooting if it's a set play where he can be open (like you said, can't get his own shot), but I wouldn't want Douglass taking that shot.
This was my first thought. I don't know if Beilein drew the play up to be a three, or that's just the way it played out. I personally thought Burke would drive and dish, but he never took a step toward the basket, so maybe they were going for the win.centralbucksfan;1061691 wrote:Burke NEVER looked to pass, that was obvious. Sorry, I'd be looking to my experienced players, who have been there and done that, proven themselves, to be taking tha last shot. On top of that, I sure don't want my freshman PG taking 19 shots either.
And AGAIN, why a 3 when you are down 2? Get it in Hardaways hands, let him take it to the rack. Defense is on their heals in a situation like that.
If IU loses this game, at home...we may actually see tears from Crean.Mulva;1061746 wrote:Indiana down 2 at half to Penn State. Zeller playing well but nobody else has scored more than 3.
I still expect a 10 point win here for IU, but if they somehow lose this one they're in big, big trouble. 3 of the next 4 on the road, @ Wisky, Purdue, and UM.
Its honestly unwatchable at time. I wouldnt be so upset if the reffing was inconsistent game to game, because you obviously get different crews, games are played differently, etc. But half to half is inexcusable. Rarely is a game going to change its course THAT much...certainly not as often as we have seen this season.Midstate01;1061860 wrote:There were so many fouls in the 2nd half of the osu game yesterday that the 2nd half took an hour and 20 minutes. They were letting them kill each other in the paint, but outside the paint, EVERYTHING was a foul. It was sooo bad, both ways!!

Illinois handled business exceptionally well after the big win VS OSU, and getting ranked. LOLMulva;1061959 wrote:Wisconsin seconds away from a win @ Illinois. Badgers are back on track with 4 straight Ws.
Brandon Paul can't have a game like he did against OSU every damn night lolLaley23;1061968 wrote:Illinois handled business exceptionally well after the big win VS OSU, and getting ranked. LOL
