My original thread inquired about Vivitar cameras... upon further research I can't seem to find a good rating on the Vivitar x024. I'm looking for a relatively low priced (not more than $170) digital camera.
Any suggestions as to what would give me the best bang for my buck?

If you bump your price range Sony Cybershot DSC-W290 (note Sony cameras usually have Memory Stick Duo instead of SD cards)
