Definitely wasn't a slip. A slip would be dropping the f-bomb if the Cougar head fell on his foot or something.

It was just getting caught up in the moment and forgetting he was on national tv.

He had to read a short apology like that? Proves that it was written by ESPN lawyers/wonks and not from Corso himself.

I thought the incident was funny as hell. Herbie's reaction was priceless, but why couldn't they just come back and have him say "I'm sorry" without all the lawyer talk.
