| Dippin' Dots has filed for bankruptcy! Ice Cream Man, say it ain't so!!!!!!!!!! I found this on another site had to repost for cruiser 96. |

Two things:
#1) Other site??? What's that mean??????
#2) I saw. Read the whole bankruptcy report. BAH!!!
I think we can forge ahead though. Someone told me that there was wrestling going on at the Schott that weekend. I thought that was a weird combo... Wrestling at an Ice Cream Festival. Odd.
But now that I think about it, I can't belive I thought all those people there shared their undying love for freezer burnt droplets of creamed ice shavings! But hey, I did. 68,000+ for a bowl (or three) of cookies'n'cream... why not!? Back then it made total sense. But it does explain the weird look I'd get from parents and grandparents. Whew! If looks could kill from a couple of those folks.
Anywho, let's see what they try to subtitute it with. Perhaps I'll buy marketing space and just sit at a desk. I can be the side shows of all side shows. Maybe one day, bring my guitar. Another day, do the only three finger/thumb illusions I have. Perhaps I'll learn to draw or make balloon animals and shapes. (I am currently honing that skill. It's the only reason I threw it in there. So far I have a snake and a worm down. Next week starts the advanced class; things like a sausage and a tadpole.)
Again, I think we can do this if we all pull together. Perhaps a moment of silence prior to the finals would set all of our hearts at ease.

My daughter went to the OSU vs. Florida games this week and upon her return she informed me that there were no Dippin' Dots. Then she broke the news about the bankruptcy. Apparently they did not apply for a federal bailout?

I doubt that the company is actually going away. From what I remember reading a while ago the company isn't in that bad of shape considering. But I've been wrong before.

If attendance plummets to roughly 1/14th of what it usually is, we know the culprit. What will the OHSAA do now that "Come for the Dippin' Dots, stay for the wrestling!" no longer can be used for advertising purposes?

Now that you mention it...while freezing my tongue on a LARGE Banana Split Dip N Dots...(followed by finishing my kids LARGE...whatever flavor he randomly chooses) I guess I do recall some wrestling going on down on the floor....all this time I thought it was a Dip N Dot spectacular...whodathunkit???tuskytuffguy;982010 wrote:Seriously, people??
