I have been fighting a cold all week. I am not able to sleep at night, so today I am trying an age old (?) cure. The Hot Toddy.


Mine consists of mint flavored tea, a little sugar, and some Jack. Due to the fact we have teenagers living in our our house, we don't keep any liquor in the house, so I had to run and buy some Jack Daniel's this morning at 10:00 when the store opened. That is a proud moment in my life, and I am sure every one else there at that time was buying their liquor for medicinal purposes.


Anyone have experience with the Hot Toddy? I am planning on drinking this and heading to bed and sweat this shit out of my system.

You've never gotten liqour at 10am? I miss those days. I've never bought it for medicine purposes though.

Gotta start at the first symptoms of a cold. It definitely cuts the time of the cold in half.

bought both of these on Saturday to see which is best...the Jack is smoother, the Wild Turkey is sweeter(plus 1% alchy)
