family/friend league I run ...here's the trade.

My sister (who is in 2nd place in the league) was offering to my dad (who has 1 win this year and often forgets to set his line-up and drafted a kicker in round 7) brandon marshall and pierre garcon in return for Matt Forte. My dad's other RBs are Gore and Addai, and he was dropping Addai to do this trade. Her team is chalk full of talent top to bottom, but I don't care about her team. I did it because my dad was getting two #2 wr's for the 2nd best rb in the league, and he would have only had 1 rb at the end of the trade. I am right to do this, correct?

Our league would call that collusion and veto it for sure. But it is by league vote. No one man has the power to single handedly veto a trade.

if both parties agree to the trade, then you shouldnt veto it. Sounds to me like you were jealous, and then vetoed it.

My sister got bitchy, so I let the league vote. It was unanimous against it, so I upheld the veto. When I started the league I told everyone I reserved the right to veto bullshit trades, as it seemed more efficient and I trust my judgement. I wasn't jealous, I just know what happened and it wasn't right.

So what if both parties agree to collude and take 2 average teams and turn them into 1 super team and split the money?

Tbone then y have a regular season if at the end everyone is going to create super teams. I vetoed a trade last week as well 3rd place team trades manning ham for Gronkowski from the last place team. It's ppr so Gronkowski is the number 1 te in the league and the last place team had 3 better wrs then manningham

Huh? My post was in response DeyDurkie who said he wouldn't veto a trade if both parties agreed to it. I said, what if the 2 parties were cheating. Vetoing trades keeps people from making super teams.
