November 15th was the 41st anniversary of the Marshall plane crash, killing
all aboard, which included almost all the team and coaching staff. I can't imagine the extent that tragedy impacted the community in Huntington.

I'm guessing not as much as Penn State is being effected now because of a cover-up of such horrible events.Little Danny;977228 wrote:November 15th was the 41st anniversary of the Marshall plane crash, killing

I amnot saying the people over at State College are devastated, but this was a different kind of tragedy. A major difference is that the players were current students at the school. Can you imagine what it would be like in Columbus if the entire team was killed in a crash on their way back from Purdue last week? The campus and the entire community would be devastated.
