A Super Bowl win in his second season....I'm fine with him. Even Cowher had a few shitty years. It happens. I don't think Tomlin is arrogant at all. He's got some decisions to make though. That is certain.

He's one of my favorite NFL coaches, and I hate the Steelers.

Yeah, I've got no problems with Tomlin (and I hate the Steelers) but that is looking like the ultimate foot-in-mouth comment now.

Jury is still out on MT.
He took over a team that was still pretty good. Two years removed from a SB win. Yeah, they wer 8-8 the year before (finished 6-2) but how much could that have been predicated on BR not being ready? HIs crash, concussion, appendix being taken out? It wasnt until mid season of that yer they came around.
I wasnt like he was taking over a team that was just plain bad. He was givin a pretty good team to test drive and just having a new coach might have been enough for the players to get re motivated.
This is his challenge now. More of his draft picks and personnel decisions are coming to for the forefront and it will be those choices/decisions going forward that will tell us what type of coach he has.
I have never been a fan of ARians. Not even last year. Last season the SB was won on defense and a QB who improvised. Much of the offense in critical times didnt come from the natural rhythm of the game but by BR scrambling. teams are taking that away with their rush lanes this year. Offense is putting up some numbers...but to win passing the ball they have to be much, much more proficient then they are.
The running game seems to be a nuisance to Arians. He lll throw in a token run here and htere, without a FB mind you, but to line up in the gun on third and short as often as he does is beyond me.
He is trying to be like a Brady, Brees, Manning type of offense.....and it isnt working as you need an OL that is unreal
He has his first big time challenge.

Yeah he is definitely a great coach... I wouldn't mind him in Cincy... just something about him rubs me the wrong way... could be the Black and Yellow...

He didn't say who Hell would be unleashed upon. He has been true to his word. They have unleashed Hell on the Steeler fans.

I have always thought Tomlin was a class act. You can't win the super bowl every year.

Agree about Tomlin and so true. If he ever wins another Super Bowl as Head Coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers.......MISSION ACCOMPLISHED....and in a big way. There are years like this one. Almost every team experiences a season like this once in a while. As long as this is the exception and not the norm......I'm happy with Tomlin.wes_mantooth wrote: I have always thought Tomlin was a class act. You can't win the super bowl every year.
