The QB change in the 4th for just one series was bizarre.
Some untimely penalties, but that late hit was questionable at best, that ball had to be inches from his hands. I am not saying that changes the game, but it could not have hurt .

unfortunately I don't think they do. I just don't understand why other teams have first year quarterbacks playing who look like they have been playing for three years and not ours. who has been playing for three years.

They should get rid of the spread and install a run oriented offense like the wing T Or option we have the personnel to do that . The question is are the coaches familiar with it or smart enough to install it .

Easy to say "do it," a lot tougher to install it. Would need an entire offseason to do it.

I'd like to see us go back to the I..2 backs, 2 WR, and a TE. Can do plenty from an I under center.

that's what I meant I was saying for next year installing new offense I know there's no time this year.

Was told Zook had 17 tackles last night, 4 for loss, a sack & a fumble recovery.

Usually don't see those kind of tackle numbers against pass-heavy teams like Ashland.

At this point, I think 3-7 with a win against Wooster is a realistic goal.

Realistic is a possible win against clear Fork and finish 2-8 , we are not beating wooster this year .

Umm...Preston? The guy who runs the 4.27?? Wooster's problem is their paper thin defense, not their offense. They have weapons there. Tomblin runs hard, Preston is scary fast. I mean fast, fast. Owens role is decreased lately. They'll score 25+ against Orrville. They have a ton of team speed.
The question is, how many do they surrender? If they can lose to Lexington, they can lose to Orrville. But you have to muster some kind of competent offense.

Well then like Troll said we are not beating Wooster this year. Their offense sounds decent and their defense is weak but we cant score on any defense so it wont matter. Wooster will win like 34-17. We might be Clearfork but that is a stretch they are better then we are. We will lose to Madison by 30+

I will have more to say during Wooster week.

For now, we concentrate on the matter at hand.

3-7 is very realistic, imo, of course.

The problem with wooster is they turn the ball over too much. Every loss they have had at least three turnovers when they won the wadsworth game one turnover, clear fork only two turnovers but game was already in hand. And they cant stop a big running back to save thier lives, so if Orrville sticks to the run game they will have a chance to win that game.

Yes, I would take 3-7 over 2-8 or 1-9.

Preston although he has great speed is a head case....he stops giving effort and starts feeling sorry for himself if things don't go his way.

I saw them play Ashland and their offense is just as predictable as ours....and like others have said their defense has plenty of issues.

Let's focus on this week!

The great thing about the Wooster-Orrville game or Orrville-Wooster, however you prefer to refer to the game is that nothing really matters until it comes down to that night. Whichever team comes in with an attitude and is ready to play football will win. Nothing that happened before or on paper makes much of a difference

problem is Orrville will not stick to the run, they will continue to pretend they can pass. Regardless of how well they are running the ball.

My prediction for the final three game scores are as follows. Madison 49 Orrville 7. Clearfork 21 Orrville 0. Wooster 42 Orrville 14. Just my feeling, hope I'm wrong.

Look a lot of fighting about WR's and QB's but I would like to know why by this late in the season can the QB not get a snap close to where he is standing in the shot gun? Get it figured out!
