Whether or not the head coach is calling the plays, does he not have the authority to dictate the game plan and change the regimen of plays being called, recognizing what is and isn't working. Can he not call the booth and make adjustments.Riderpower;1260455 wrote:...Good example, 4th & 4 on our own 35 yard line 7.32 left in 4th quarter and we are down 9 points and Kyle drops back and throws a 30 yard bomb to BJ...Coach D. would have more than likely punted it and let our defense try to make some plays if he was doing the play calling, but that call came from the box and as it turned out it was a good but very gutsy play call.
People such as yourself get on here and talk down our Coach and throw our kids under the bus. Stop being a coward hiding behind your screen name, come on out to practice 3pm to 6.30ish Mon. thru Thur. and lets hear you say those things in public as you have said on here, I assure you no wood shed would be needed but I could recommend a good dentist after we help you to your feet...
A few plays after that 4th and 4, there was another "gutsy" 4th down play that didn't work. There was enough time remaining to continually run the ball swapping in and out #24 and #21 as Triway could not stop them!

Do you really have the time to hang out at practice every day and are you allowed on the field to be a part all the conversations and game plan?
Is "riderpower" your real name?
If the coaches or team beat up someone for voicing his opinion, is that a reflection of "leadership"? And then...quite possibly, new coaches are going to be needed.
