Need 2 out of the following:

I have:

RB Jamaal Charles (IR)
RB Frank Gore
RB Chris Wells
RB Rashard Mendenhall
RB DeMarco Murray
WR Dez Bryant

Could possibly package players (this year) for:

RB Darren McFadden

I'm leaning towards Jamaal Charles (just because he had such a monster season last year), but I'm a little hesitant because of the injury; and as for the second keeper, I have no clue.

My team is 2-7 so, yes, I'm already looking at next season.

1) Murray- You have to keep him. He looks amazing and is a rookie should be a great fantasy RB for years to come.

2) Charles- Even with the injury I'd keep him. I mean its not like your other guys haven't been injury prone either.

No question Murray has looked pretty darn good as a rookie. You're not worried about Felix Jones coming back and taking over once he's back to normal?

What is your scoring system? Is it PPR or non?

In standard, I'd make the deal for DMC and think hard about keeping Dez.

Murray. He will be my keeper, and he will be my last person drafted. Fuck yes.

0.5 point for PPR.

So here's my update... I ended up packaging (I'm Team Y)...

TEAM X traded LeSean McCoy, Phi to TEAM Y
TEAM X traded Nick Folk, NYJ to TEAM Y
TEAM X traded Heath Miller, Pit to TEAM Y

TEAM Y traded Rashard Mendenhall, Pit to TEAM X
TEAM Y traded Frank Gore, SF to TEAM X
TEAM Y traded Greg Little, Cle to TEAM X
TEAM Y traded Aaron Hernandez, NE to TEAM X
TEAM Y traded Jason Hanson, Det to TEAM X
TEAM Y traded Early Doucet, Ari to TEAM X

So now... I'm thinking my Keepers are LeSean McCoy and ???

I have DeMarco Murray, Jamaal Charles, Dez Bryant, and Chris Wells all to choose from.

I'm leaning towards Jamaal Charles or DeMarco Murray.

I don't like the trade you did but yeah my keepers would be McCoy and Murray.

Why not? Do you like it better if I tell you that I'm out of the playoff race?

Yeah I like it better then. Actually after thinking about it I really love it haha. Because the people you gave away you didn't plan on keeping anyway and you got one of the best RBs in game.

Those were my thoughts too. While Gore & Mendenhall are good (and borderline keepers), I think I got a "for sure" keeper in McCoy in return, and really only gave up WR (Little), a TE (Hernandez), and another WR (Doucet) that I'm probably never going to use.

I wasn't going to start Little or Doucet over Dez Bryant (and my flex is more than likely always going to be an RB seeing as how now I will have McCoy, C.Wells, and D.Murray), and I have Dustin Keller who isn't that big of a drop-off from Hernandez, so really... as long as I can plug someone into that 2nd WR position on a weekly basis (and even if I can't, it's not that big of a deal since I'm mathematically eliminated already), I should be fine [and in a better position for next season].

My question is... who's my second keeper tho [still]? I know people are saying Murray, but I'm wondering if using him as my 2nd keeper (because again... it's a 2nd Rd pick... since McCoy would be my 1st), is really my best option. And yes... we have to keep 2 players.

So it really boils down to... who's a better 2nd rock pick.... DeMarco Murray, Jamaal Charles, Dez Bryant, or Chris Wells?

SB I have some bias as a Cowboys fan but I'd still take Murray.

Charles- The injury thing doesn't help and who knows how he will be next year.
Bryant- Not really worth a 2nd round pick and has some injury issues.
Wells- Never been a big fan of him and hes injured a lot as well. I also wouldn't take him in the second round.

Pretty much I feel it comes down to Charles and Murray and I would take Murray just because I feel its more safe of a pick and you could have a keeper for the next 8-10 years with him.

Murray.

---Wells isnt even an option. Has he played a full season since Pop-Warner where he stayed healthy?
---Bryant shouldnt be an option either. Has the tools to be a top 10 WR, but he is always hurt and Romo spreads the ball around a lot. Seems guys like Laurent Robinson come up each year for the cowboys.
---Charles is the only other choice here, but his injury is scary. Thomas Jones is finally gone after this year imo, but Battle kinda emerged as viable for Haley to fuck around with.

But if you are eliminated, you are gonna be able to draft Charles anyway possibly in the 3rd round lol. Him or get a WR better than Dez. Either way, Murray and McCoy will be the best choices.

Well... what is everyone's opinion now that Murray has broken his ankle? Does his injury scare you off? Or do you still keep him?

I have Murray and right now not sure if I wanna keep em or not. I took a flier on Jake Locker last week just in case he gets the reigns next year - I wouldn't mind having a franchise QB as my last pick each year.

Locker won't be a top 10 fantasy qb next year though

How many keepers do you get and who is all on your roster right now? Idk if I would waste a keeper on someone like Locker.
