The Browns played like they had something to play for tonight. Their first win in the series since 2003. Maybe this will be a rivalry again now.
Us Steeler fans have had 6+ years to live it up. I think we can handle 10 months on the wrong end of it.
So to all of you Browns fans on here......congrats. You've waited this long. I tip my cap to you.

I know many of these guys won't be on the rosters next year, but you really have to love the effort the defense played with tonight.

I feel way better than a fan of a 2-11 team should. Man it's been a long time coming.

Steelers fans.... Browns, Raiders, Chiefs, and almost lost to the Lions. - thank God we don't play the Rams...
Silver lining - we will have an early pick in the draft.

Thanks. It's been tough, no doubt. I know exactly what Michigan fans felt like.
We won the way you're supposed to win. Suffocating defense, run the ball, limit mistakes and avoid all turnovers. It's not pretty, but it wins games.

The Steelers used to do that.

Exactly, Walt. And that's what frustrated me so much in the Palmer, Davis, and Crennel years. We had no defense. We had no o-line. And we were inconsistent and lax on turnovers/miscues.
We stepped up big to get the monkey off our back. Sure, we beat a .500 team. But every Browns fan knows this wasn't an ordinary upset. This is an upset that's been in the making since 10/5/03. Game after game, I've longed to beat the Steelers. My wife is a Steelers fan and not once since I MET HER have I had the satisfaction of the Browns beating HER team.
Not anymore.

From another Steeler fan.....this is the reason that you bring Mangini and Ryan back next year. These two men have the team fighting again. Although not a winning season, the team is doing something they haven't in years past. Hats off men!

I can deal with a shitty year after the super bowl as long as we keep the same schedule. 2005 win SB, 2006 miss playoffs, 2007 lose wild card game, 2008 win SB, 2009 miss playoffs, 2010 playoffs but no SB, 2011 SB, 2012 end of the world.
We need a new O. Coordinator.

Can't wait to get to work today. I've got some abuse to give back to a couple Stiller fans that have been dishing it out for years.

The Steelers have lost the team chemistry. Yes losing will do that but something else is going on in that locker room.
I think we will here more and more as the season ends.
Happy for the Browns but still only two wins and Brady is not the answer.

I wouldn't care if a Steeler fan laughed at the Browns or respected them for how they played.
Other team's fans are irrelevant to me. I don't want or need their approval nor do I seek them out when someone wins or loses.
Nice job to the Brown's and their staff. They may have saved Mangini's job for next year.

Con_Alma-Okay. Well, I think that some congrats is in order considering they've went over 6 years without a win in the rivalry. You can disagree though. That's fine.

it was a fun game. I didn't see many empty seats which is a good thing. place sounded loud when bowens broke up that 4th down pass (essentially sealing the game). The Browns will win out. mark it. (I have to say that because I predicted 5-11 before the season started).

I didn't disagree with you about the Steelers missing the playoffs. I disagreed about the team "chilling in Findlay." Semantics I know but go back and take a look. I thought it was pretty obvious.
Con_Alm-You're welcome.

Browns played with more passion, more fire, and more drive than the steelers.
That is something I thought I would never have to say about the steelers. They may get beat...but i dont ever expect them to give up on the team and it looks like some of them are going through the motions.
