Somehow I'm missing the dip stick for my automatic transmission. I'm not sure how long it's been missing or if I've been losing any fluid for however long it's been gone. I called the local honda dealer and they said they only have them in California and it would take 5 business days to get here. I checked with auto zone, pick and pull and several local junk yards but I'm not having any luck. Anyone have any suggestions for other places to look around Columbus?

Another Honda parked on the street left unlocked.

Hope this helps.

Sounds like you need to go test drive a Honda, problem solved. New dip stick for you and it didn't cost you a dime.

I really did consider that. There is a civic at the dealer that is almost the same as mine, but my conscience wouldn't let me do it. I ended up calling another dealer and they had it in stock.

Charlie Sheen would have handled this differently

Did you contact the place that most recently changed the oil? My guess is they did not put it back in (that's what she said).

Where do you think the dealer that had one in stock get it in the 1st place?
