Certainly a Rat Pack favorite. It was the epitome of "cool" in 1965.

I'm a sucker for single malts. Glenlivet and Macallan are two of my favorite brands

See that's why you're a pussy, you drink lesser alcohols and then dilute them with ice.

Scotch is whiskey - or whisky, rather.

Huge fan of scotch. I've been drinking Speyburn 10 Year lately. For the price (about 20 bucks for a bottle), it is a really nice single malt! Drink it neat with a drop of water - few things are better.

Scotch is the proper term for whiskey produced in Scotland although other countries also produce similar grain based drinks.

It's kind of like Bourbon being the proper term for US produced whiskey.

I would rather have whisky in this order:</SPAN>
Bourbon/Kentucky</SPAN>
Tennessee</SPAN>
Canadian</SPAN>
Scotch</SPAN>
Irish</SPAN>

Hope this helps all ya&#8217;ll whisky snobs.</SPAN>

Agree, I guess we always referred to American (Ky/Tn) as whisky and foreign by the more proper origin name.
