He's pretty good at saying nothing is wrong....karen lotz;1074388 wrote:@dennisdoddcbs: Statement coming shortly from Ohio State AD Gene Smith re Urban Meyer recruiting accusations.
why would they let him talk?
someone needs to slap Gene Smith in the face with a glove and challenge his ass to a duel. I hate him.karen lotz;1074388 wrote:@dennisdoddcbs: Statement coming shortly from Ohio State AD Gene Smith re Urban Meyer recruiting accusations.

This shouldn't be happening. There is no reason for it.karen lotz;1074388 wrote:@dennisdoddcbs: Statement coming shortly from Ohio State AD Gene Smith re Urban Meyer recruiting accusations.

There is no reason that Smith should open his mouth about this, at all. Meyer did an excellent job explaining his recruiting process, and that should be that. The only time Smith should intervene is if the NCAA had a problem with it, and in his (for now) capacity, he'd need to address it. Hey Gene Smith, just STFU!karen lotz;1074388 wrote:@dennisdoddcbs: Statement coming shortly from Ohio State AD Gene Smith re Urban Meyer recruiting accusations.

The article was summed up perfectly.centralbucksfan;1074342 wrote:Here is a very good article on the situation with Beilema and others in Big Ten. I also think its a good article in terms of what the guy says as far as what goes on in the Big Ten compared to SEC. Thus as I mentioned earlier, maybe one of the major reasons the SEC is where its at currently.
IMO, the hell with that gentleman BS. If the Big Ten or any other conference wants to close that gap with the SEC, then you better get after it as long as its legal.

You think a family member emotionally vested in the situation is more credible than an unbiased outsider with a phenomenal history of credibility?Y-Town Steelhound;1074597 wrote:Don't care who "Nevada" is, I'm thinking the guy's father is a bit more credible of a source.

Nevada has been wrong before. Taj Boyd, most infamously (and I think Jason Gwaltney too).LJ;1074603 wrote:Nevada is as credible as they come.
Where did I say their family was credible?karen lotz;1074616 wrote:I'm not butt hurt at all. In one case you say family is credible, in another you say it isn't. How do you decide? The answer is obvious. Don't be mad I connected your comment here to one you posted within the last hour.
