Meyer has been raving about Burrows(has brought him up specifically quite a few times today). Meyer said Tom Herman told him he's his next Alex Smith. OSU expects a quick committment from '16 #6 QB Jarrett Guarantano. That will leave 5 QB's on the roster with Miller gone and assuming Jones leaves. Also, Danny Clark is already committed for '17. No way all those guys stay at QB, and the one with the talent to play another position is Gibson. I think he gets a shot at QB, but would be shocked if he ends up there. and it is a good thing to horde some great talent at the QB spot, for a reason like this year and so they dont go elsewhere. Feel bad for all those guys, but Bogard's situation is really sad. I will say this though....a lot of shit can change in 4 years of college. Many times those kids finally get to focus 100% on one specific sport and dedicate themselves year round for football. "When I selected Ohio State I was aware that the coaches are the best in the profession and that they would be sought after by other schools and the NFL. I'm sorry to see Coach Drayton move on but he feels thats what's in his best interest and I wish him and his family well. Coach Meyer was very reassuring that he was going to bring in the best RB coach in the nation and he's done that with Coach Alford. I'm very familiar and comfortable with Coach Alford he was recruiting me while at Notre Dame and our relationship is very much like the relationship I have with Coach Drayton. They are more than position coaches they are mentors and will help prepare me for LIFE not just football.
