No list is complete without Massillon vs Valdosta, also, I would like to see Glenville vs Miami Northwestern.

Also, I believe Chico said that St. I would never participate in this event.

I'd like to see Steubenville in it. Over the past five years, the Big Red has gone 68-4 with two state championships.

First of all, who said anything about Lowndes? Secondly, I doubt it.

Sure ncf, but first of all, I wasn't even talking about Lowndes, I was talking about THE Valdosta, and secondly, Ga. football as a whole doesn't even come close to comparing to Ohio football top to bottom.

Valdosta did not have that great of a season,7-4. The only game I got to see live on tv was against Lowndes and the final was 57-15,Lowndes.

Ga. football is a lot better than you seem to think.

I do think Mass. Washington would have beaten Val. this season.

Valdosta aint what it used to be. They haven't won a state title in who knows how long. Lowndes is the team to beat in GA now. Massillon would probably get beat by them. Glenville vs Lowndes would be a great matchup tho.

An all-ohio Herbie for the small schools

With NW ohio being the hot bed of the small schools I'll let Lima host(pretending the visitor's side has been rebuilt

Friday night

Game 1: Lima Central Catholic v. Mogadore

Saturday
Game 2: Marion Local v. Patrick Henry
Game 3: Norwalk St. Paul v. St. Henry
Game 4: Newark Catholic v. DSJ

You think Glenville/Lowndes would be a GREAT matchup....Yet Massillon would get beat by them.

Let us not forget that Massillon/Glenville was 17-17 midway through the 4th qt, with Massillon having the ball about midfield.

So we (Steubenville) should play Ben Davis from Indiana? I never heard of them. Tell me more.

They are big school power in Indy.
At least they usually are.

I think it would be a good match up.

I'd like to see Pickerington Central match up against one of the Pittsburgh power houses like Woodland Hills, Gateway, Pittsburgh Central Catholic, etc.

I'd like them to match up the best Ohio teams with the best incoming teams rather than matching up last years best teams with this years best out of state teams--that's the only correction the Herby needs to make. Seems like they always anticipate the teams that are going to be sweet the year they come in but don't anticipate the Ohio teams for the next season--they take the teams that were good the year before.

I'd like to see Herbie keep it in state. Let the small schools get their wish and play the big boys:

Youngstown Cardinal Mooney v. Cincinnati St. X
Kettering Alter v. Cleveland St. Ignatius
Steubenville v. Dublin Coffman
Youngstown Ursuline v. Hilliard Davidson
Coldwater v. Cincinnati Colerain
Ironton v. Cleveland Glenville
Newark Catholic v. Mentor

Totally on board here, although Mooney has already added St. Ed's and Moeller for next year. Isn't that enough for a team that is already losing almost every starter from this years team?
