Only bad thing is in the BCS era, with no clear frontrunner and everyone beating the crap out of one another, it hurts them in terms of having a team for the NCG

I call bullshit... now way Minnesota beat Iowa. Kirk Ferentz is one of the best coaches in the country (according to the media), and Minnesota is miserably bad. No way could a coach that good drop a game to a team that bad.

The B1G might be the only conference where teams beat up on each other week in week out. This isn't the SEC where its pretty easy to go undefeated when over half your conference is a pushover.
