No you are wrong. In 2006 they didn't play in the SEC Title game and the played ND in the Sugar Bowl. In 2007 LSU beat the Vols in the SEC Title game.

I thought for sure they didn't win in '07

I was wrong....my bad

I got my years mixed up....I didn't translate that the '07 SECTG was for the '08 NGC

MOney alone would get Ohio State in at 9-3

Also, this game didn't appear to be Wisconsin falling asleep or playing uncharacteristically bad. OSU flat out was more physical. Look at the rushing stats for each team... that's the game right there.

OSU lined up and played some good old smash mouth football (like Wisconsin did last year) and just proved to be the more physical team. I think Wisconsin got away from their recent tradition of physical and running it down your throat for a bit more pass happy this year.

All night I kept wondering why Bielema didn't let his highly touted 5th year senior heisman contending qb throw the ball more. I am glad he kept trying to run Monte Ball into a wall.

Eh, Wisconsin also had a few plays to wide open receivers. But you have to give credit to Braxton Miller on that play. The dude evaded tacklers and threw across his body, while running full speed.

That was not an easy throw by any means... reminded me of Troy Smith.

This game only means Luke might be a head coach elsewhere. One game doesn't keep it. A BIG champ game might not be enough, and it shouldn't. Hell of a win men, you became a TEAM tonight. Push forward...

Just got home from the game, that was unreal. I gotta give it to the boys upfront, OSU dominated that game in the trenches. That Badger line is big but they got their ass whipped tonight

It probably reminded him of Troy Smith because it was kind of like the pass from Smith to Robiskie against Penn State in 06. Same endzone even.
