Does OSU not have special teams? I thought this was OSU, you can't block a punt or set up a return? As Michigan St. showed last week, a hail mary can result in a TD. To not even try is pathetic.

Very pleased with the way we are playing. Offensive play calling could be a little better but I have given up on Bollman a long time ago.

Did you not see Hall muff the punt right before halftime?? Pick your battles and Fickell wanted to get into the locker room. I happened to agree with him.

I think you are grasping straws. If OSU didn't get the ball after half, I may somewhat agree.

So, you put all 11 people on the line to block the punt and if it's doesn't work, the ball rolls dead and you go into the half. Where is the fire, the intensity? Walking into the half OK with being only down 4?

Ok, so Wisconsin runs a fake and scores a TD to go into half 14-3, sucking all the air out of OSU.

Fickell made the right call.

OSU can't run a punt block without getting faked out for a TD? Is this the vaunted OSU special teams we are talking about? I don't think ever going into the half with TOs left is the correct call. He doesn't have the spine to do anything. This team is 4-3, he isn't going to be the coach next year, what exactly does he have to lose?

This.

Bollman was pretty conservative when Tressel was here. Now he's crawled into his shell and the offensive scheme looks like it was designed by someone who is scared shitless. It appears that the defense or special teams will have to get a score for us.

Gotta love the intensity tonight, though.

Give me a fucking break. You want to play what ifs, but the counter reaction to yours all of a sudden turns into "OMG OSU CAN RUN A BLOCK WITHOUT GETTING FAKED?!"

I think Fickell is doing a fine job so far this game. Stop trying to grasp at straws and dislike meaningless shit just because you don't like him/OSU.

why risk it? The atmospher is rocking in the shoe and the team is feeling good about themselves. Just get into halftime and try to figure out some things on offense.

And I won't admit he is spineless in that instance, because I personally think he was right. It is the same call that Tressel would have made.
