Now that the East Central Ohio League has expanded and gone to small school/large school divisions, Coshocton has replaced Dover with Bishop Hartley for this year's annual blood bath.

Hartley is currently ranked #4 in Division 4 Region 14 while Coshocton sits at #3 in Division 4 Region 15. Both teams control their own playoff destinies.

Hartley is last year's Division 4 state champion. Coshocton's best playoff showing is a visit to the state semi-finals two seasons ago. Both teams are perennial Division 4 playoff contenders.

While this game obviously isn't a Steubenville vs. Massilon caliber match-up, it is certainly is deserving of some attention.

As a Coshocton fan, I expect the Redskins to have a difficult time keeping up with Hartley, but Coshocton is fielding some pretty good athletes. This one will give Coshocton a benchmark on their playoff hopes. The winner of this one will lock a playoff spot and collect a ton of computer points.

I doubt this will get much OC attention but I thought I'd toss it out there so I can hear how badly Coshocton will get pounded this Friday by the Hawks. ;)

This should be a great game. Both teams will have home playoff games regardless of the outcome. Great measuring stick for both teams and programs. I hope this game continues throughout the year, it should shape up to be a great rivalry.

Hartley will roll. Not close at all.

Should be a close game. Losing Harris hurts in a game like this for the Redskins I think.

Agreed but Coshocton is fairly deep at the RB slot. Bresciani has really stepped up to fill the gap. Walker and Ogle can also get the job done.

I dont think Coshocton will be able to handle the speed of Hartley. And I think the defense will do what they do best and stop Coshocton and Hartley will come into the game ready. 38-10 Hartley

Good Luck to Coshocton. Hartley has no idea what's coming. Both these teams are evenly matched. Skins are one x-point away from being 8-0. They are well tested and ready for the next level. Just continue to climb the ladder skins........

I had a chance to see Hartley on ONN vs. Ironton. They are the best team Coshocton has faced this year by far.

I say it again, the injury issue for the Redskins would concern me. Not having Harris and I cant imagine Turner being 100%. I dont really like travelling to Hartley to play on their turf either.

I see Hartley highlights on the news and read about them in the paper all the time here in Columbus and they really aren't that much different than Coshocton. I don't think speed alone will win it for them because Coshocton is also very fast. The one significant advantage they may have is depth, which is normal for a private school located in a large metropolitan area. Win or lose, I think this was a good addition to the schedule for Coshocton. It is also nice to be able to watch a Redskin game close to my house here in New Albany. Normally, I'm driving an hour one-way to catch a game.

Anytime Coshocton has played a school like Hartley depth has been the problem.

Dont think Hartley has a lot of depth they have a lot of people on the team going both ways.

I hope Coshocton makes a Div IV statement by shutting down Hartley. Represent the ECOL well.... we're pulling for you in T-County.

They definitely don't have a LOT of depth but I think they might have more of it than Coshocton does across all positions.
