Due to NBA career not working out, Carl Krauser coming back to Pitt. Per The Onion.

Kidd-Gilchrist came out in the media and said the entire thing was false. Saying he will make his decision after the Tournament.

Agreed, it was just a rumor and it was awful timing. There's no way he'd announce it today...

Right. He's already thinking about cashing NBA checks, he doesn't care about winning a title.

I look for UK to destory IU tonite. Hope I am wrong, but UK will have to play poorly, and IU will have to play great, for this upset to be pulled off. The first time it happened...well...was in bloomington and I think UK took them lightly. Once the momentum got going they couldnt stop it.

UK by 18+

I agree with this. But I don't think the score will reflect it. If that makes sense? I think it will be one of those 13-16 point wins that just seems like a 20+ point game.

The new early decision rule really screws the kids. They have like 10 days to decide if they are going to stay or go. That is nowhere near enough time to really get a good idea of where you are going to go and make a rational, educated decision. Benefits coaches/teams, screws players. What else is new.

The draft isn't until June 28, why do we need an April 10th deadline?

It could definitely screw coaches/teams just as much as the players. The NBA still goes by their own April 29th deadline.

So a kid could announce he's coming back on April 10, but then declare anyway over the following 3 weeks with no problem. They aren't stuck in school after April 10th. They just can't "test the waters" and work out for teams and then decide to return anymore.

There are plenty of ways for a player to find out what their draft stock is without working out for teams.

Good. He's a fun talent to watch. The game can always use those types of electric scorers at the mid-major level. Hopefully Gibbs also decides not to enter. Seems like a nice kid.

Syracuse has Rakeem Christmas and 5-star center DaJuan Coleman there. He's got far more competition at Cuse...

Not that Noel won't start, but like I said, logically, going to UK (off the year they have the DPOY, NPOY and #1 overall pick at Noel's position) or Syracuse (where there are at minimum, 2 other 5-star centers on the roster) doesn't make sense.

Georgetown makes WAY MORE sense than Cuse...but that's just my take. That's why there is the link about his childhood mentor being a Syracuse grad. Many feel that is the reason they are in the picture, because logically there are far better options for a one-and-done looking to raise his stock for the NBA.

He always had pretty decent stats in Golden State. Hopefully the knee doesn't cause him anymore problems.

Duke reporting that UConn big man Alex Oriakhi, who has expressed his intentions to transfer from the university due to the postseason ban the Huskies face next season, has narrowed his list down and the Blue Devils are on it.

This could be interesting and probably very dependent on whether or not Mason Plumlee declares for the draft.

Nebraska hires Tim Miles from Colorado State. He did a solid job there. I'm not sure Nebraska could have done much better.

Agreed. That's a real good get for Nebraska. A shame for CSU. They have a great team returning. Whoever steps in there inherits a nice base...
