Syracuse is very good, I've seen them play 5-6 times and they have a very good, producing front court which has been the main difference from previous years where they've had some of the same players. Waiters off the bench has been amazing as well. Scoop Jardine used to be..well, an idiot, on the court. This year he's really cut down on those mistakes and is leading the team in assists.

I think by the time March comes around they will eventually fall even with the 5 or so teams up there..but right now they are clearly the best squad in the country.

PS I really don't understand why Baylor isnt more talked about and why they aren't ranked #2? I mean are they not undefeated? Have they not had good wins? What's the deal with them?

I agree, I think Baylor is a very good team. Why not talked about? Because its Baylor. ;)

Yeah its just weird..they have NBA talent on their team, they have played at the very worst a decent schedule, and play in a big 6 conference.

If there is some logic behind it I wanna know what it is cuz it doesnt make sense

Fair enough. I honestly don't think it's a stretch though and I'm not guaranteeing they win it all but this team is the best 'Cuse I've ever watched in 20+ years. That title team had an incredible future NBA player on the team in Melo and that made up for other shortcomings. This team is just so solid all the way through and they're making better decisions than past Syracuse teams. Not winning it all won't change my mind unless they tank and don't at least make the Elite 8, if not the Final 4 come March Madness.

Great assessment. I can tell you're being honest when you say you've watched them several times this year. Waiters is ridiculous. Syracuse comes at you in waves. Their bench is the highest scoring in the country (around 36 ppg). Just so deep.

The 1/23 game at Cinci should be a pretty good test, ewok, and I'll make sure to tune in. I'll be able to assess them better then.
