Andre Drummond is too raw offensively for UConn to be a real threat in my opinion.

Today, at halftime of the UK/USC game, a Kentucky Freshman (student from the crowd) hit a half-court shot for $10,000 in a contest sponsored by Kroger. He was initially awarded the money, but Kroger is now "reviewing the shot" to verify if he stepped over the line and thus, nullifying the prize to be paid out. Judge for yourself...

Some of the "experts" are saying he plays too many times like basketball is his hobby. Hopefully Calhoun can get his ass in gear.

Mark it a zero, dude. If the rules were behind the line then it's kind of shitty, but he should have watched his footwork.

They'll pay it. How big of a bitch will Kroger look like if they don't? It's not like he actually has a "line" to go by the logo is where he's shooting from, not a line. That's a shifts worth from lane #4...pay the man.

If Kroger reneges, then shame on them. Though, technically, dude is over by a few inches. That is some BS though, he nailed it, and I always see guys "just" over on half court shots.

The line is still there. There are parts that are not painted to outline where the line is.

They updated the article 4 hours before it was posted on here that Kroger agreed to pay.

Some recruiting news.

Shabazz Muhammad (Rivals #1) and Anthony Bennett (Rivals #7) may both end up at Kentucky according to Matt Jones. Both are currently uncommitted. Rivals #9 Devonta Pollard has UK in his remaining visits. Rivals #36 Amile Jefferson is also very high on UK, and likely would be there if it was confirmed he has an offer. With only 2 rides likely, and 3 of the top 10 players still on UK's radar, he may have to commit or wait.

Either way, if the Cats get Shabazz and either Bennett or Pollard, to go along with Poythress and Goodwin, it likely gives them 4 of the final top 15 in the country (Poythress may end up in the top 5 when all is done). Add in Willie Cauley and Ryan Harrow, is it possible Calipari could top his class AGAIN?

We'll see.

There were articles saying as such. Didn't link them though. Nothing with Shabazz has been concrete as of yet, so if someone is willing to say something or even "guarantee" something, I guess it might be.

You're right though :)

Are they giving out national title trophies for the top class yet?

It's kind of amazing the effect that brawl had on both Cincy and Xavier. They both seem completely different now. Cincy went from underachieving WTFs to playing like a very good team. Xavier completely crumbled and went from a very good team to pure chumps.

UC changed their personnel grouping to run a four guard offense. The stuff they were trying to do in the first few games of the system did not match the talent they have.

That being said, this team lives and dies by hitting their shots. If they have an off not shooting, they are in trouble (see their game against St. John's last Saturday).

Siva just fouled out with 11 minutes left.

Doris is absolutely correct. It's a foul he took because he was tired of being on the floor.
