I heard a song I highly recognized. I can't remember one single lyric but here is what I do know..

1) Male singer (acoustic/light rock style and sounds current vocally)

2) 1970s

3) I doubt it's a band

4) Has a corny catchphrase - but the verse of the song is very good

5) has a key change in the song

Other than that I have no idea. How would I go about figuring this out?

I doubt you find out with those clues. You will have to remember a few lyrics.

I know.. It has a corny word with a "C" is in it and that's all I got.

It's not Cat Stevens or James Taylor.. sorta similar though.

It's a love song in a way. I think the chorus gets a little corny. The only reason I want to know who sings it is cause I was digging the verse and thought the guy sounded very current for today. I dont know much else about it. I just don't think I've heard of the guy before but I did remember the song.

I feel like the song will start with a C.
