It's not the best. I'd say part 2 will probably be better since it will include his Ohio State and pro days. Why no Grantland hits?

Just don't like it. I read it when it first launched and wasn't impressed at all. I do like Simmons though, just seems like a bunch of the other guys he has write for it are trying too hard to be him.

David Jacoby is pretty solid but he's on the pop culture crew. The Clarett story wasn't all that interesting, not to mention the fact that it reads like a tenth grader's English autobiography. I'm hoping part two is better as far as content goes.

It wasn't a bad article but not really anything great either.

Nothing real insightful.

Question, would Clarett get paid for that?

Do you think he did that for free?

He's the largest waste of talent in world history.

With that said, he's a buckeye. #championship

I would argue that from Ohio State, Art Schlicheter was an even bigger waste.

One play I will remember for the rest of my life is the play in which I stripped the ball from Sean Taylor. I can remember Craig Krenzel calling the play in the huddle and I was just thinking, we need to score. I can remember Ben Hartsock telling me about how he was going to run his route, and jokingly telling Craig to throw him a touchdown. We broke the huddle. The ball was hiked. I ran to my blocking assignment, and, in the process, Sean jumped under the route and made a great play. The first thing I thought was to get out of the way, because people will knock the shit out of you on interceptions. Guys look to blindside people.
I saw Sean running down the field, but I also saw how loosely he was carrying the ball. I took a good angle, and he never saw me. I put my arm between the ball and his body and just dropped my weight. To this day, when people ask me about my career at Ohio State, they always ask about that play.
I'm glad to see Clarett recognizes how truly special that play was. Far too many college football fans, and Ohio State fans, do not grasp just how important that play really was. It was an unbelievable play by two spectacular players at a pivotal moment in the game.

Almost brings tears to the eyes.
Everyone wishes things would have played out differently, but they didn't, and I can live with that. I'm back to being friends with all of my old teammates and coaches, and I'm back to being a responsible father.
Also sounds like Clarett has his head right now and finally "gets it."

That play gets drowned in the other close plays that happened in that game. However, without Clarett stripping the ball, we lose the game no doubt.
