Rittman lost to Rootstown in the worst officiated game I have seen in a long time. Rootstown would probably be in the bottom of the WCAL this season. First time in my life where I left a game knowing the officials blew it. Some sparks at the end during the handshakes and two players (One from each school) were restrained. Tough weekend ahead for Rittman traveling to Northwestern and Chippewa.

Really , Dalton has been playing well lately with the exception of the first half of the central game. I think Dalton certainly has a chance but norwayne probably has too much depth.
i think 5 ft each side

Orrville's current gym is also 10 feet shorter than regualtion..5 feet short at each end. I have played on Dalton's gym and yes, it is just like Orrville's ...too short

i guess i never noticed a difference. If your norwayne, though you can also look at it the other way - a long athletic teams' defense can be really sufffocating on a court that's a little smaller. Hurts them on offense, helps them on D. Overall, I dont think it really makes much difference.

Just look for the volleyball end lines and where they cross the foul lane and you will see how much closer the end line is to the foul line on different courts. Orrville's is much closer to the foul line than most gyms.

looks to be a full house tomorrow night at dalton. Bulldogs need a win to stay in the mix for a wcl title. I really think hillsdale is the only other team that has a chance (not a great chance) of knocking them off. There is no better atmosphere in the WCL IMO than Bulldog gym for a big game.

Save room for a few Bobcat fans... hope it's a good game tomorrow.

I didnt either...a wrestler at home instead of school = fridge access all day! lol

Do factor in that the 2 reasons for cancellation...

1. Homes County back roads are dirt roads drifted shut.....

2. Students safety that walk to school with temp. at -1 F and windchill at -10.....

Not my rules...it's winter in Ohio.

Great game by Dalton tonight - did a great job of taking Davis out of the game. Hopefully this loss will wake up the Bobcats.

It was a great game for the Dogs! The energy was amazing! Talking about amazing.....Bowe had 16 pts,18 Rebounds, 2 blocks and 3 steals. But most importantly shut Davis out for the whole game. Moyer missed most of the first half because he was in foul trouble. Its odd but the Dogs O runs better at times without him in there. Anyway Troyer and Bowe are a deadly combination in the post. Got to stay focused with the game at Smithville tommorow night.

the bulldogs won this game with defensive intensity, took the cats out of their game. Norwayne has more athletes, but I think dalton has a few more basketball players. I got nervous at the end, when masters (dalton pg) fouled out with 3-4 minutes left, norwayne turned up the press and dalton really dont have another pg and it showed. Thankfully, they weathered the storm
