Bengals look to get to 4-2 before their bye week. Guess I will have to go the game since it won't be on TV because of the worlds worst fan base!!!
I will go with 27-13 Bengals
Who Dey!!

Has a team ever gone the entire season in the NFL and not sold out 1 home game?

Not sure but it will be tested this year in Cincinnati... Only way I see a sellout happening is at the end of the year when the Ravens come to town if the bengals face a win and in scenario I could see the fans showing up to support the team despite the hatred for Mike Brown.Skyhook79;928878 wrote:Has a team ever gone the entire season in the NFL and not sold out 1 home game?
I have been a season ticket holder for every year since the new stadium opened up until this year. I chose to get rid of mine because I have a baby on the way that will be here any day and I knew I wouldn't be able to go to all of the games and I damn sure wouldn't be able to sell single game tickets when there are 20000 available at the ticket office.

Did you maybe forget about the steelers game? They may only be 3-2 but most likely that game will be, or already is, a sellout.voewoody;928902 wrote:Not sure but it will be tested this year in Cincinnati... Yeah, the Steelers game should be a sellout. Might be a 50/50 split on fans, but it should be a sellout.
Bengals opened as a 7 point favorite from what I heard on the Bill Simmons podcast, which is way too big IMO. I like the Bengals to win but it will be another grinder. Would be crazy for the Bengals to be 4-2 entering the bye week, but thank goodness they started off with such a weak schedule to give them some momentum going into the meat of the schedule. I don't expect the Bengals to make the playoffs but 7-9 or 8-8 is possible.

Hey another game thread! We all know your fanbase only becomes legitimate after it creates threads on Ohio Chatter, right S&L?

4-2 going into the bye would be huge! If this defense stays healthy they will be in every game!

Bengals Defense is only giving up 279.6 Yards per game... Still 1st in the NFL

During the preseason I was listening to sportstalk on WLW and the host was talking how Vegas, at that point in time, had the over/under on wins at 7.5 for the bengals and couldnt believe it.
I remember thinking to myself that might be the best bet ever in sports. I dont know what the line ended up being but I woulda jumped on that if I had some extra jack laying around.
Looks about right now though.

Game is blacked out.
Since I didn't buy a ticket to help avoid the blackout I am obviously not a fan. Sorry guys.

Colts have been in almost every game, doubt its the easy win many bengal fans think it is.

I agree though, it should be a close win either side. Colts have been close the past 2 games.

I can def see 7-9 or 8-8 with the way that defense is playing, as long as they stay healthy. Will the grind of the season wear them out though especially when it gets cold? What is the word on Cedric's appeal? That would have an effect on the .500 record if he the 3 game suspension remains.Terry_Tate;929179 wrote:Yeah, the Steelers game should be a sellout. From what I've heard they may not even have any word on Cedric Benson's appeal for another 3-4 Weeks

at Seattle
at Tennessee
vs. Pittsburgh
at Baltimore
vs. Cleveland
at Pittsburgh
vs. Houston
at St. Louis
vs. Arizona
vs. Baltimore
If they can actually win this weekend and go to 4-2, I see winnable games against Seattle, Cleveland, St. Louis, and Arizona, which assuming they win all of those that's 8 wins, and say they'll take 1 of the 4 against Baltimore and Pittsburgh for 9 wins. I still think they'll only win 7 or 8 as they may drop the game against Seattle or may not win any of the 4 against Baltimore or Pittsburgh. The one thing though is they'll probably at least be in every game unless Dalton is a turnover machine in a game. I don't think the cold will play a big factor, and honestly I think it could help them against Houston and Arizona late in the season. The Chargers came in last year and the Bengals put it to them because it was like 15 degrees out.

Sounds like Addai is out. Only thing I'm really worried about is protecting Dalton.

Well shit, he may not be as valuable as Peyton, but this is a huge blow. The D-line is really going to have to put pressure on Painter.
