It makes some sense. Meyer is originally from Ashtabula, which is not too far from PSU. OSU is a hot mess right now and a PSU rebuild will probably be a little easier.

I'm going to assume this isn't serious. The OSU talent level is far and beyond what PSU has right now. funny, I posted Meyer to Happy Valley before OSU and killed a thread a few days ago. Now the word is out. PSU wants him and he is listening, if only to rai$e the $takes if he does coach next year.

The comment "the OSU talent level is far and beyond what PSU has right now" is more or less untrue. If the talent level at Ohio State is so great, for example, explain why that talent has looked beyond pathetic this season. Oh that's right, Fickell.
I guess Meyer would step in and make miracles happen with that talent, but he wouldn't be able to do the same at - say - Penn State. Meyer could easily take Penn State's "inferior" talent pool and quickly turn it back into a Top 15 program just as he would at Ohio State.
As far as PSU being in BFE that might be true, but having lived here for the past 9 years I can attest to the fact that State College is a damned nice place to live.
With a 110,000 seat stadium that's sold-out for every BFE home game , a very loyal fan-base, outstanding facilities, and great quality of life I can see why Meyer might, indeed, be scouting the PSU job.

I don't buy this at all. We have no idea what the sanctions against OSU will be, unless they're given the death penalty I still think the OSU job is better. Hell, Urban Meyer probably does more coaching, by analyzing and commenting on their games, at Penn State now than JoePa does.
