When this league dissolves, I'm going to miss the BE tournament. It was always exciting.

Most likely only the football part would dissolve. It'll just go back to the way the conference was in the 80's, just with different schools.

Even if football is dissolved, it leaves Georgetown, Nova, ND, Marquette, Seton Hall, St. John's, Providence, DePaul. Target a couple of A-10 schools or something (Xavier, Temple, Richmond) and you're back to being a viable basketball entity.
Obviously it isn't gonna be on the same level though.
