I listened to the Legend's coaches show on Wednesday night to the coaches from St Joe and from Clyde and both coaches are very concerned about their games this weekend. The St. Joe coach is very concerned with the experience and size that Bettsville has back and they will have to be better defensively than they were in the past two weeks. I know that sounds funny to say but he is probably right.

I think St. Joe wins in a close one on the road assuming the kids are not looking past Bettsville to their game with Calvert next week for their own personal reasons from football.

Good luck to our friends at St. Joe tonight.

Carey will need some other guys to step up and help Dennis. One guy imparticular should be Mason Tong, he should be getting 10+ ppg on offense.

Bettsville v. St. Joe story up at www.ohsn.org

North Baltimore over Calvert is the bigger surprise in my opinion.

Dennis Had a huge game against Wynford. the second half he was 100% shooting for FG and FT. 24 points in the fourth alone is BIG. I hope he can do that well against NR

Mason Tong had some amazing passes, looked like Larry Bird!!!

And you can't say enough about the defense and speed of Cy.

Good win Blue.

First win over Wynford in 25 years!! I never thought it was that long. If Devils don't turn the ball over they are very productive. This win could be a very big stepping stone for Carey

Cdevil 25 years!!! thats along time was there a period the two schools did not play? They had 19 turnovers going into the 4th and ended the game with 21. So you are right, that why they were so productive in the 4th and OT.

Carey has played Wynford for as long as I can remember. My senior year we lost in OT in the regular season and in the District Finals by 3. The Royals always give us problems but its nice to see them get a W.

Carey will be very good if they can continue to get Tong to produce 10+ ppg. Strahm seems to be handling the PG position nicely and Vaughn looks to be the perimeter shooter Carey will need later in the year.

Carey will find out tonight (Thursday) if they are a contender, NR has a nice team with a lot of experience.
