Dover has done a fine job adjusting the last 3 weeks but if Swinderman is ready they can get Mammo back to reciever and help shore up the secondary, if Raber is ready it is a double bonus. In the last 3 weeks Dover has developed a pretty good run game and gotten Johnny D in the mix,and he ran pretty good last night.

Zanesville is a solid d2 school and will be pumped to knock off Dover and they have great atheletes ozzing out of that school, so they are more than cappable.

If Dover can limit the turnovers and clean up some silly penalties I think they win it.

Zanesville will be pumped. They know that Dover is the team to beat in the ECOL and the Blue Devils will want to make a statement.

Dover & Zanesville are both pumped. They know that their opponent is the team to beat in the ECOL and both teams are out to make a statement.

Good luck to both :D

I am not pumped and I am not sure who is the team to beat. I make no statements.

Good luck to neither team.

It's my opinion. This game is Dover's season all wrapped up into one game. I'm starting to wonder If we see Swinderman, this week. Hoping he is ok, and I realize Dover has not really needed him. I think with the field conditions last friday maybe the coaches just thought another week of rest would help the cause. But to think, he can just jump aboard be effective and error free from the get go against a tough Zanesville is questionable. Zanesville is at home which makes them the favorite. Dover has finally showed a running game but it's predictable, Dovers D has stepped it up a bit but to opponents that have question marks. That's why I think this game really matters, to prove if Dover is ready for prime time high school championship football. I'm hoping Dover can bring the perfect storm to Zanesville.

I'll be surprised if this game doesn't come down to who has the ball last.

Zanesville's pansy schedule ends Friday. A severe welcoming to the ECOL awaits you.

You better let them win the league within a year or two or else they might just up and leave the ECOL. :D

hahahaha some will say the same about Dover. I'm wondering if the fans will make the track to zanesville with the economy so sweet. I hope so but given the average age of a Dover fan is over 65. It's hard telling?????

Depends on whether the Band is going or not, most Dover fans are over 65 or band parents!

some truth to this but the reality of Dover students is that they PARTICIPATE the band has about 130 football 65 x country 40 cheerleaders 22 soccer around 70 tennis 30 volleyball 25 they may not show up in the student section because they play on sat and have curfews to meet,or they are in the venue but playing an insturment or on the field. I will take participation in other sports over cheering in the stands every time.

A lot of the fans are now grandparents holding on to their season tickets like they are mercury dimes from the 1920s. 4th and goal on the one, 5 seconds left, game winning score for the Tornadoes coming up.... and home sidelines........[insert cricket sound]

This is nothing new, Dover in the 60-70's was the same (From the 20 yard lines) they just had bigger classes so they had more kids in the student section. Also Dover had a tradition back then that allowed former players to enter thru the locker room. LOL couple that with a 18 year old kid able to drink a beer. It made for a louder crowd.
