The St. Louis Post-Dispatch claims the bullpen couldn't hear TLR's calls for Motte because of the crowd noise. They suggested using a cell and sending a text.

Tony really blew it last night. All those scoring opportunities and not once did we see an attempt to squeeze in a run. Running Craig with Pujols at bat was dumb enough, but they tried it twice. Double-dumb in my book.

Now it comes back to St. Louis and what should be the coldest, wettest Game Six in recent memory. I think that a real premium will be placed on manufacturing runs, as the ball simply isn't going to travel very far with the weather conditions. I'm hoping for Game Six to be postponed until Thursday, so we can see a Friday night finish, with "all hands on deck".

Anybody see carpenter act like the little bitch he is last night? After napoli got the last out to end an inning you could see carpenter stare at him and say "fuck yeah, fuck you, you piece of shit"

Napoli turned out to be the hero again last night and I thought it was very fitting.

I did see him yelling but didn't go back and really try to pick up what he was yelling. He is a great starting pitcher. He is also a top notch douche nozzle.

Wow, seems to be a lot of Cardinal haters here. Must be disgruntled Reds' fans. Probably pissed that the Brewers have replaced you as a good team in the Central. Enjoy the winter!

I don't really hate the cards. I am rooting for the rangers because a kid I played against and know is pitching for them.


I also forgot to mention that I hope chris carpenter dies in a fire.

I had zero problems with the Brewers doing well.

Ouch! No hate there, for sure.

Well, here's hoping that I'll be seeing Carp and his teammates parading with the World Series trophy next week in downtown St. Louis. If not, I'll just get ready for next season.

Tribe fan.

I love Albert like a few of the Cards. But I hate LaRussa and Carpenter (even though I have him on my fantasy team 3 years running). But Albert already got a ring, so I dont need to see them win it again.

Lulz....Skip Shumacher just launched his bat into the dugout and nearly drilled Carpenter. Nice

Vince Coleman getting rolled over hurt the 1985 Cards...this could've taken down the 2011 version.
