Has he taken the reigns as the top RB in the game? He was good last year, and looks to be at an even higher level this year. He's currently going nuts on a pretty good Jets defense.

I'd probably slot him #2 behind AP.
I think Jamaal Charles might have been ahead of him too before he tore his ACL.

When Chris Johnson was holding out I had a conversation with a friend about "elite" RBs in the NFL that were actually worth $7-$9 million a year. I said AP might be the only one. But you have guys like Rice, McCoy, Gore and McFadden behind him. I would love to see a good ranking from someone knowledgeable on all NFL RBs.

LeSean McCoy has a strong, strong argument as well.
But all are probably behind ADP right now, who still puts up numbers on shitty offense.

That's where the Titans screwed up. They had to pay Johnson more money, but the $10 million a year he wanted was ridiculous. AP is worth it, but who is in that 2nd tier? RBs are so vulnerable to injury it's hard to get comfortable offering big money over a long term.Laley23;910519 wrote:LeSean McCoy has a strong, strong argument as well.

I personally think Ray Rice is the #2 guy. Then I'm not sure.

I have McFadden on both of my fantasy teams. 2nd round pick in both 12 team leagues.
