The game was in Europe (maybe london?) I believe.
People think racism is a problem in this country, but it is 100x worse in Europe. It is not uncommon at soccer games for the fans to start chanting the N word, or throwing bananas. There is a reason why FIFA started a fight against racism campaign.
I have never once heard any racist chants/heckling at an American sporting event.
