Question for the OC. Not saying this would happen in a million years, but if for some miracle an Ohio MAC team got an invite to the B1G, which one would you want to see in?

Toledo, Ohio, or Miami. Miami has the most realistic shot.

Toledo or Miami, but that would be a sad day for the conference.

Academically Miami.
Athletically, idk? None of those schools are consistently good in the major sports.
Never would happen though, none of those markets are outside of what is already Buckeye country.

None of them. I like the MAC for the unique conference it has always been.

Miami is the only one academically that could do it. As far as athletics and facilities, none of them can compete on any level.

Miami for the Academics. As for sports, meh. Unless the Big 10 is going to really start taking their new Hockey conference seriously, Miami will have no value to them. I still think Miami was very dumb to turn down their offer to the Big 10 back in the 70's.

I picked Ohio, just so Hoke would look like more of a jackass.

Not exactly sure how the Capital One Cup works, but last season Akron finished 15th overall. 1st place in the Mac, the only Big 10 team to be above them was OSU at 10th.
Akron obviously couldnt compete in academics as a whole, but does have some programs that rank pretty good nationally.
Doesnt make a difference either, but Akron's student athlete's also had the highest average GPA in the MAC last season at 3.14
Also has the 3rd biggest fan base in the MAC behind Temple and Buffalo, and understandably so looking at the markets they are in.
Also, Akron has the biggest football stadium and soccer stadium of Ohio teams in the MAC. One of the smaller basketball arenas, but the University is looking at building a new one.
With that said, no Ohio-based team in the MAC would ever get invited to the big 10. If ANY MAC team did, I say it would be Temple.
