Anybody getting Gears 3 today (or already got it)?
My amazon copy should be waiting for me when I get home and I'll probably hop on late tonight for a few hours.
Gears 1 MP was amazing
Gears 2 sucked, IMO
Gears 3 beta MP was awesome, so I'm pretty sure this should be solid.
It should definitely hold me over until Battlefield 3 and Skyrim.
When Skyrim comes out, I will not sleep.

Will be getting it. I haven't really cared for the multiplayer in the games but I enjoy the campaigns and horde mode.

Bought it yesterday. First Gears game that ive ever played. Love it so far. Have only done a little TDM. Its so much different than the COD games im used 2. Definitely gonna take a little time to get good.

Take a look at the gears triple pack....if you like the single player mode...it is like 20 bucks and has both the other games on it

People need to stop camping with the SOS. I dont care when i die from it just dont camp in a damn corner waiting for someone 2 walk by!!!!!

I haven't played the multiplayer, is it any good? I loved the original gears online, but hated the 2nd one.

Multiplayer is pretty fun. Aside from the campers you see in all FPS games and a couple maps that seem unbalanced. I cant compare it with the other 2 gears games because this is the 1st 1 ive played but from talking to friends its much better than the 2nd. I was horrible when i first started playing. K/D was like .6 and moved it on up 2 1.1 as of yesterday WOOOT!!!
