This sucks, but he was much more important last season with the 2 inconsistent WRs and rookie TE. Shouldn't be too huge now, Caldwell is ready to step up. Hope Andrew Hawkins gets the call. If 1 more WR goes down then they are in trouble.

I was just thinking about him the other day. I was curious to what team he was playing for.
For some reason, I just couldn't think of where he went to. That's a bummer. Bengals needed all the help they could get.

I'm a Browns fan, but I've always liked Shipley as a receiver; very reliable, good routes and great hands. Hope he recovers completely.

92.3 had a local beat writer for the Bengals call in and he felt that this wouldn't be a huge loss. He said in last years offense, with Palmer, it would've but he felt they wouldn't be utilizing Shipley as much this year.
