This year will mark our third "Be Better" pre-season wrestling camp. While the aim and effort for this year's camp will be the same, the layout will be slightly different. In the past, we have geared it towards a day-to-day, incremental, systematic approach. And while I still enjoy that style of camp, I wanted to incorporate more techniques than just mine this year.

The basics:

Who: Any and all wrestlers, with an emphasis on junior high and high school wrestlers
What: "Be Better" Wrestling Camp
When: Monday, October 31st through Thursday, November 3rd... 4 to 7pm
Where: Groveport Madison Middle School NORTH, 5474 Sedalia Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43232
Cost: $40
Routine: 30 minutes of admin and warm-up, 2 hours of instruction, 30 minutes of application (aka live or situational wrestling)

Clinicians: Mark Niemann (only the greatest!), Mark Marinelli and one Ohio-RTC representative (an Ohio-RTC that had two WORLD TEAM MEMBERS (Humphrey and Dlagnev) and an alternate (Bunch) as well as the 2008 OLYMPIC Gold Medalist (Cejudo), to include 2008 Olympic Alternate (Rowlands) AND AS IF THAT ISN'T ENOUGH, Bergman (2010 WTM) and Penn State All-American James Yonushonis! I mean, come on people!?!?!

I'm still considering a 4th clinician... stay tuned.

Finishing touches are being put on the fliers this week. I will create an adobe file and then email any and all who would like one.
