For me,
Highly overrated
1. FSU
2. Mich St.
3. TCU
Overrated
1. South Carolina (even tho they havent been beat)
2. OSU (Ive had them ranked in my top 10, but the last 2 weeks has changed my opinion)
3. Penn St.
4. AUB
5. Georgia
And I feel that Oklahoma and Nebraska arent as good as advertised. Oregon is a toss up. They just lost to a good team. I think ND is better than their record.

I agree with your list. Oregon is really good though. I feel Nebraska is overrated. Oklahoma has a talented team, just is known for losing when they play a legitimate team.. and no, I dont count FSU as a legitimate team.

An overrated list would be far more impressive if posted before the listed teams underperform.

then again, one game doesnt necessarily define the whole season.queencitybuckeye;901366 wrote:An overrated list would be far more impressive if posted before the listed teams underperform.

I like the list other than I think Oklahoma's defense is THAT good...I think they could win it all just because of that.

I hate to disagree on F$U. They had Trickett at QB and were even with Okla. in the 4th qtr.
Next week at Clemson will tell the rest of the story on the Criminoles. Did Dabo shoot his wad yesterday or can he get his team focused for a big ACC game?

I agree with most of it.
Especially:
Especially:
- Georgia
- Auburn
- South Carolina
- Michigan State -- supposed to be in the running for the B1G (did I do that right) title in the preseason?!

cats gone, I'm surprised you didn't list Oklahoma's defense as overrated..I mean that's all you were saying last week, how they would be exposed.

It's still early in the season but right now it looks like
Ohio State (no offense, poor coaching, and I may have to agree with Lou Holtz no playmakers) can't play Bauserman anymore
Penn State (no offense, QB play nearly as bad as OSU)
Auburn (just not a good team)
South Carolina (defense has not shown up this season)
Georgia (was only ranked to set up the Boise State game)
West Virginia (no defense, but may not need one to win the Big East)
Virginia Tech (every year)
Michigan State (should have known from last years bowl game)
Oklahoma I don't know yet but they play a couple more good teams so if they are a fraud we'll find out.
FSU, I feel if the player who was knocked out makes that touchdown catch then this game would have been totally different so I'm not ready to give up on them yet, we'll see how they do this week at Clemson.

Not real sure if Ohio State is/was overrated. They are still playing with player suspended. Not only that, but were people really expecting much from them this season? They are picked to finish 2nd in their division, which could very well still happen. Being ranked pre-season is basically based off the accomplishments of the previous year. Same thing with Auburn. No one really expected much from them, so not sure how either team was overrated.
Now South Carolina on the other hand, there is a very overrated team.
