Buying Tickets outside Cleveland Browns Stadium

I'm gonna be heading up to Cleveland tomorrow for the Browns/Steelers game. Never been to a pro game and this should be an easy ticket I think. Anyone ever bought from scalpers outside the stadium? What prices can I expect, how much cash should I bring. Thanks

Haha I know. I've been a Browns fan for a while, and while this is not my ideal game to be going to, i'm gonna suck it up and go.

$30 should do it, only cause its against the steelers. if not you could get in for 20.

Are you a single? If so you might get one under 30.

Along E 9th from Superior and on up into town, you'll find scalpers. If you're looking for a single ticket, you'll get one for probably $20-$30. If the price is somewhat high, wait awhile closer to game time and the price will drop. if you don't mind missing the first quarter, you'll get a ticket for $5 or $10 right at kickoff.

Depending on what seat you want, I say bring at least $50 for it. You can park in town at one of garages for $10 or so (been a while since I've used one of them).

Some factors out there that make this a buyers market:
1. Home team stinks.
2. Visiting team, although is a big rival who travel well, is in a downslide
3. Week night. That eliminates alot of potential guyers.
4. Poor weather.

All four of those factors will make it an easy buy tonite.

Ive scalped alot of tickets over the years and ya never really can tell....but you should be safe tonite.

Just dont buy the first ones ya see unless the price is right. Dont be afraid to try and haggle over the price. If ya dont like the price or tix...walk away. If you buying more than one...check to make sure the tix are next to eachother if you indeed wanna sit by the other person.

Make sure the tickets are printed on crackers (simpsons reference). Make sure the teams names are spelled correctly (King of the Hill reference).

You should start yelling. "How much will give me to take your tickets." ;)

This maybe a stupid question . . . oh wait my dad said there are no stupid questions just stupid people who ask questions. Any way, can a scalper sell a ticket for more than what it is worth?

It depends on the state. I forget about Ohio, but I assume it's legal. Just don't go anywhere near stadium property looking to buy/sell tickets. Stick to the streets downtown.

Also, they won't be advertising that they're selling. They'll be saying "I need tickets". Those guys are actually selling tickets.

Legally I don tknow what the law is...but fo sho they do sell them over face value if the market is there for it.

Tonite however I doubt they will get to even face value.
