I know someone who is looking for a job and wants to have a baby. She is budgeting for the baby under the assumption that she will have a better job in nine months. Here's the deal, if she isn't employed for more than 12 months at the same place, she is not guaranteed FMLA leave I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I understood of it.

Friend of mine just got hired to a new job while she was pregnant. It's doable.
