Highest rated team to ever come to the Glass Bowl. Our RRRockets are a little banged up on defense but that unit played pretty damn well in Columbus last week. Bauserman did miss a lot open receivers that Kellen Moore will not. On one hand, I would love for the Rockets to make a game of this. On the other hand, I just picture the Boise team that hung 57 on Toledo in basically 3 quarters last season with a healthy Molls and Ballard was on the team. Oddsmakers have Boise at just around a 20 point favorite.

Can the RRRRRockets do the impossible? Or do they become another victim of the machine that is Boise State?

Any Chatters heading down to the Glass Bowl Friday? I should be there. Its rare that a top 5 team comes to my backyard. Not going to miss out.

Given that Toledo is in the northern part of the state, I would guess most who would be going would actually be heading up to the Glass Bowl.

I've got Friday and Saturday off work, so I'm trying to work things out so that I can make the trip up from Columbus. If I'm there I will proudly be wearing my Boise State jersey and cheering on the Broncos.

2,000 left as of this afternoon. Glass Bowl record is somewhere in the 36k range and I'm expecting it to be close to that.

Where would I have to go to find these tickets? I looked on stubhub earlier today and they were sold out, and there was hardly anything on Craigslist.

Boise no longer has to do that, they are recognized by most fair minded football fans as a top team already. Having said that I expect Boise to beat the Rockets handily 49-21.

I'll be there. I would love for us to make a good game out of this but I think our defense is going to have to play out their minds to keep Boise off of the scoreboard enough to keep it close.

TOLEDO, OH - The University of Toledo announced that there will be special pre-game and halftime fireworks shows for Friday's football game vs. No. 4 Boise State. UT officials also said that approximately 1,500 tickets are still available for the contest.

I wouldn't worry about your seats if you are coming up from Columbus. The Glass Bowl isn't exactly large and even the tippy top isn't very far from the field. Just call the box office and get em.

I will be there. Can't wait. Probably head to Bunkers around 4 for a few drinks, then tailgate at the stadium, and then drinks in the stadium.

Toledo is a team who can hang around for their shot to win at the last minute. This will be a much better game on the field than it appears to be on paper.

When tickets first went on sale for this game, they were starting at $49 a ticket. Back a couple years ago when they came to BGSU, tickets were under $20. I wouldnt spend over $100 to watch Toledo play at Toledo.
