anyone else doing one?

I am in one for 20 that started last week there were 57 people in it...its already down to 35 after a lot of folks took chiefs and browns last week. I didnt have time to look at the games so I took New England.

I just joined one today for 10 and am trying to decide my picks for both.

Im thinking Jets or Dallas.

Rules are straight up pickem no spreads and can only use each team once. this is the third year we did it at my job and the first year it was over in 4 weeks...last year it went inexplicably into the playoffs.

a lot of people took the browns...i guess it was probably more of a bet against the bengals and also the strategy of saving the good teams for the end of the year...i have tried that the last two years even going as far as to sit down and planning my picks for the entire year what a waste. now i just try to find a winner each weak and survive

The Browns were 7 point favorites in Vegas and I figured there wouldn't be a better week to use them

The best strategy in Survivor is to pick the most available gimme win. You can't look ahead to the future imo. 90% of the participants get eliminated by week 3 because of this. Survive and advance.

Yeah my friends do this as well. I like to try and find those teams that have a favorite matchup and probably won't be a team I would pick in weeks 4-7. I like to try and save teams like the Colts(in previous years of course), Steelers, Packers, Saints, etc for later.

We have 8 people in our league 25 bucks winner take all. 3 people are already gone and I know 2 picked the Browns and I think one picked the Steelers.

Last week I went with Arizona. This week I'm going to go with one of these teams(Ravens, Bills, Cowboys, Lions, Bucs).

The one I'm left in runs through the superbowl if needed...would hate to make it to week 17 only to not have a team

Damn that is nice. Last year me and another guy in my league went to week 16(everyone else was out after week 3). He took the Jags cause he had used like_that's stragety and really did have anyone else and I picked the Packers.

Bases how many people and how much is the buyin? Thats a very nice amount.
