you know we do have a thread ban option. Anytime Sleeper, CGW, Like_that etc start to troll a thread, just ban them from it.

Like the Steelers vs Seattle thread, Like_that and CoA probably need thread banned. They started off the thread by attacking Non. Now it isn't even game talk. Honestly that is why I think the pro/college forum should just be anything goes except porn, racist, shit like that. Its a big boys place. Now the HS forums must be moderated!

you are correct, but with those two...the thread banning would just lead to them bitching and moaning on every other thread. But they have been warned several times already nothing changes, they get banned and come back with the same tired act. It isn't as fun if it is allowed. Let them post their shit on pro and college, it will get old!

While moderating it will always be a losing battle, when JJ's had that "fuck all of you, we're not enforcing the rules" period on their CFB forum it was possibly the worst idea they ever had (except for that whole series of events that led to this site's creation). It was just the same 10 people going at it full retard, and everyone else just ran far far away until they reinstituted some basic rules.
College fanatics are some of the dumbest people on the planet, it's the nature of the beast. I don't know what the answer is, but letting them run totally free was proven not to be it on JJ.
